- Laurence May, Head of KPMG in Galway, brings over 16 years of experience in financial statement audit and assurance services. A native of the West of Ireland and an alumnus of NUI Galway, Laurence has been instrumental in advising a diverse range of clients, from significant subsidiaries of SEC filers to medium and large privately owned Irish groups. His leadership has been pivotal in KPMG's commitment to supporting growth in the West of Ireland.
- Professor Peter McHugh, Interim President of the University of Galway, is a distinguished academic with a profound impact on the field of biomedical engineering. A native of Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo, he holds a first-class honours BE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Galway and an ScM and PhD in Engineering from Brown University, Rhode Island, USA. Professor McHugh has served as Deputy President and Registrar and has been a Personal Professor of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Galway since 2004.
